This Privacy Policy describes how Gameline Analytics ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the GamelineAnalytics website and subscription service (the "Service"). Effective date: August 27, 2026.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password. If you enable two-factor authentication we store your encrypted authenticator secret and recovery codes.
- Date of birth and age attestation — the Service is restricted to users 21 and older, so account creation asks for your date of birth. We store the date of birth of accounts we create, together with the date and version of the eligibility statement you agreed to, as our record that the age requirement was applied. If the date of birth entered indicates you are under 21, no account is created and that date of birth is not stored. We use this information only to enforce the age requirement and to evidence that we did; we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to eligibility, and we do not sell or share it.
- Session information — the IP address and browser user-agent associated with your login sessions, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Billing information — when you subscribe, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment details directly on Stripe-hosted pages; your full card number never touches our servers. We store your subscription status and, as synced from Stripe, your payment method type and card last-four digits, plus records of your acceptance of subscription terms.
- Communications — messages you send us at our contact address.
We do not collect precise location, browsing history across other sites, or any sensitive categories of personal information.
2. How we use information
- To provide and secure the Service (authentication, sessions, fraud prevention).
- To process subscriptions and payments and maintain legally required billing-consent records.
- To send transactional email only: password resets, subscription confirmations, and renewal reminders required by law. We currently send no marketing email; if that changes, marketing messages will include an unsubscribe mechanism and be sent only as permitted by law.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing — and what we don't do
We do not sell or share your personal information for money, targeted advertising, or any other consideration. We share information only with service providers that operate the Service on our behalf:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe processes your payment data under its own privacy policy and maintains transaction records independently of us.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting and email delivery vendors that process data solely to run the Service.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. Cookies
We use only first-party cookies essential to operating the Service: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and a CSRF token that protects forms. We use no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, and no third-party cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, there is nothing to opt out of; blocking them in your browser will prevent login from working.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because we do not track visitors across websites, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals — there is no cross-site tracking to disable.
6. Your choices and rights
- Review and update — edit your name and email anytime in Settings → Account.
- Export — download a copy of your personal data from Settings → Privacy & Data.
- Delete — permanently delete your account from Settings → Privacy & Data. Deletion cancels any active subscription and removes your account data. Stripe independently retains transaction records as required for financial compliance, and we retain subscription-consent records as required by law (see Retention below).
- Ask us — for any privacy request, email gamelineanalytics@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 45 days.
7. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete your account. Records of your acceptance of subscription (automatic renewal) terms are retained for at least three years as required by law, with the account link removed on deletion. Payment transaction records are retained by Stripe under its own policies.
8. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, two-factor secrets encrypted, and payment collection is delegated to Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable state breach-notification laws.
9. Minors and age restriction
The Service is restricted to users 21 and older. It is not directed at children or at anyone under 21, and its content and advertising are not designed to appeal to minors.
Account creation requires a date of birth. If the date entered indicates the visitor is under 21, the account is not created, the date of birth is not stored, and further registration attempts from that session are declined for a period. We therefore do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal information from, anyone under 21.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of any consumer under 16. If we learn that we hold information belonging to someone under 21, we will delete the account and the associated personal information. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us at gamelineanalytics@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are announced by posting the revised policy at this address with an updated effective date; material changes will also be announced on the Service or by email to your account address.
